NE United, Kerala Blasters to play friendly matches ahead of ISL
NorthEast United FC and Sachin Tendulkar co-owned Kerala Blasters will come to Goa to play friendly matches against senior club teams as preparation for the ISL.

Panaji: John Abraham co-owned NorthEast United FC and Sachin Tendulkar co-owned Kerala Blasters will come to Goa to play friendly matches against senior club teams as preparation for the Indian Super League (ISL) which starts from October 12.

NorthEast United FC, which will have its base in Goa, will be the first team to arrive in Goa on Tuesday, while Kerala Blasters will come on October 1 and stay till October 10, according to team sources.

NorthEast United will play the first friendly match against Tuff Laxmi Prasad SC at Duler Stadium in Mapusa on September 24.

Tuff Laxmi Prasad, who are new entrants in the Goa Pro-League, have performed well in the ongoing league and are placed third at the end of the fifth round, ahead of Dempo SC, Sporting Clube de Goa and Churchill Brothers.

Vasco Sports Club and Sesa Academy will be the two other opponents for the visiting teams.
