QPR owner Tony Fernandes held talks with Redknapp on Monday and says "I don't think there was any point where he was thinking of not being with us and continuing this project he has embarked upon."
London: Harry Redknapp will remain as manager of Queens Park Rangers despite the club's relegation from the Premier League.
QPR owner Tony Fernandes held talks with Redknapp on Monday and says "I don't think there was any point where he was thinking of not being with us and continuing this project he has embarked upon."
Redknapp took over as QPR manager in November on a 2 ½-year deal with the team bottom of the table, but couldn't engineer an escape from the relegation zone in the second half of the season despite heavy spending in January on Loic Remy and Christopher Samba.
QPR's relegation was confirmed Sunday with a 0-0 draw at Reading. Fernandes says "Harry will not be forced to sell any players he wants to keep."
