Lindsay Lohan welcomed her first child, a son Luai with her husband Bader Shammas.

Actress and model Lindsay Lohan is enjoying her motherhood phase after welcoming her firstborn, a baby boy with her husband Bader Shammas. Ever since, the actress has been sharing a lot of interesting details about her life, especially about her son Luai. In her recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Thursday, Lindsay opened up on how she got emotional after she saw her son watching her beloved film The Parent Trap.

On being asked by the host about whether the actress watches her own movies, Lohan began by mentioning that she does not seek to watch her own movies but occasionally puts them on in the background.

“If someone wants to watch it and I am there, I put it on and I am like cooking in the kitchen, or I have to run upstairs or I am busy doing something. It’s odd hearing my own voice on the screen,” she said.

The Mean Girls star shared an interesting incident when she saw her baby son watching her film. Mentioning that it was after she came home after wrapping work, Lohan recalled witnessing her son watching The Parent Trap on the TV.

“And I started crying because I’m like, he doesn’t even know that’s Mommy yet. I was like, do I turn it off or do I just…he was kind of just staring. Because maybe, my voice is still similar to how it was then. So I was like, maybe he knows, like a little bit that it’s me because it sounds like me. But it was a really magical moment. I took tons of pictures of it,” the actress continued.

Released in 1998, The Parent Trap also featured actors like Dennis Quaid, Natasha Richardson, Elaine Hendrix, and Lisa Ann Walter in significant roles.

On the same show, the actress also opened up about her plans to have a second baby. Noting that she feels lucky to have a sibling, Lindsay shared that she wants her son to have that too.

She also recalled her journey to motherhood, attributing the birth of her son Luai to her prayers during the shooting of Irish Wish alongside Ayesha Curry, now her son’s godmother.
