How to Appear Offline on Viber on iPhone or iPad

Open Viber on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the purple icon with a white chat bubble and phone receiver inside. You’ll usually find it on one of the home screens.

Tap ⋯ More. It’s at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Scroll down and tap Settings. It’s near the bottom of the menu.

Tap Privacy. It’s the second option.

Slide the “Share ‘Online’ Status” switch to iPhone Switch Off Icon. As long as this switch is turned off, you will appear offline on Viber. You can only change this setting once every 24 hours.

Slide the “Send ‘Seen’ Status” switch to iPhone Switch Off Icon. This allows you to read your messages without the sender knowing.
