How to Apply for Uber Eats on Android

Signing Up for Uber Eats

Download Uber Eats from the Play Store. Here's how to install the app on your Android: Open the Play Store Android Google Play. Type uber eats into the search bar. Tap Uber Eats: Local Food Delivery in the search results. Tap Install.

Open Uber Eats. It's the round gray icon that says ″uber eats″ inside. You'll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.

Tap REGISTER to create a new account. If you have an Uber account already, tap LOG IN WITH UBER. This allows you to log into Uber Eats with your regular Uber account. You won't need to sign up for a separate account.

Fill out the form and tap REGISTER. You must provide your name, email address, mobile phone number, and create a password. Once you're finished with this form, Uber Eats will send you a confirmation code via text message.

Enter the code to confirm your account. Your account is now created.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the set-up process. You'll have to enter your address so Uber Eats can determine which restaurants are available to you, and agree to give the app permission to access your Android (if you haven't yet done so).

Applying to Drive

Go to https://www.uber.com/drive/delivery in a web browser. You can use any browser on your Android, such as Chrome or Samsung's Internet, to apply for a position as an Uber Eats delivery driver.

Tap SIGN UP IN MINUTES. It's the black button in the top-left area of the page.

Enter your email address and tap NEXT. If you've started an application to drive in the past, tap Log In below the form to sign in with the account you've already created.

Enter your personal details and tap NEXT. You'll have to provide your name, phone number, and location information. If another driver gave you an invitation code, type it into the ″Invite Code″ box.

Select a delivery method and tap CONTINUE. If you're in a densely-populated city, you may have the option to deliver by bicycle. Uber Eats does not require you to have your car inspected before you start driving.

Review the requirements and tap CONTINUE. You must be at least 19 years old (US) or 21 (Canada) to deliver for Uber Eats. If you're using your own vehicle, it must be a 1998-or-later model with a clean (non-salvage) title.

Enter your social security card number and tap CONTINUE. This is required for your mandatory background check.

Review the background check information and tap I agree & acknowledge.

Take a photo of your valid driver's license. Here's how: Tap Take Photo. Line up the front of your driver's license in the camera viewfinder. Tap the shutter button to snap the photo. If the photo is dark or blurry, tap Retake to try again. Tap Use Photo to submit your license.

Take a photo of your vehicle's current insurance card. You'll do this the same way you uploaded your driver's license—tap Take Photo, and then follow the on-screen instructions to submit the photo.

Take a photo of yourself for your driving profile. This photo will be used in your driver profile so that customers can identify you when you arrive with their purchases. Here's how to snap the photo: Tap Take Photo. Align your head in the profile so your face is clear. Tap the shutter button to capture the photo. If you're not satisfied with the photo, tap Retake to try again. Tap Use Photo once you've captured a photo you like.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the application process. Once you finish your application, you'll receive a confirmation message from Uber Eats. Once your background check is complete and you receive confirmation from Uber Eats, you can start delivering.
