Open FaceApp on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the multicolored head-and-shoulders icon labeled ″FaceApp.″ You’ll usually find it on the home screen. If FaceApp is not installed, download it now for free from the App Store.

Select a photo or take a new one. To select an existing photo from the camera roll, swipe through the images at the bottom of the screen, then tap the one you want to use. To take a new photo, line up your face in the outline, and then tap the shutter button (the large circle at the bottom of the screen).

Swipe left across the icon bar. It's at the bottom of the screen. You’ll see various filters and expressions you can use on your photo.

Tap Old or Young. The ″Old″ filter will add wrinkles and other aging effects to the photo, while ″Young″ removes wrinkles and smooths the features.

Tap iPhone Share to save or share the photo. This opens the sharing menu. To save the image to your phone or tablet without sharing, tap Save Image. To share the image with others, tap a social media or messaging app to create a new post or message, select a recipient (if using a messaging app), then send or post the photo.
