Open your iPhone or iPad's Settings iPhone Settings App Icon. You'll usually find it on the home screen.
Tap your name. It's at the top of the Settings menu.
Tap iTunes & App Store. It's the blue icon with a white ″A″ inside.
Tap your Apple ID. It's the email address at the top of the screen.
Tap View Apple ID. It's at the top of the pop-up menu.
Verify your identity. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your password or use an alternate verification method (such as Touch ID).
Tap Payment Information. It's near the top of the menu.
Tap PayPal. It's in the first group of options.
Tap Sign in to PayPal. It's the link beneath the payment options.
Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in. Once your sign-in is successful, you'll return to the ″Account Settings″ menu.
Tap Done. It's at the top-right corner of the screen. Your PayPal account is now added to iTunes. To switch your default payment method for iTunes/the App Store, return to this menu and tap your preferred option.
