How to Contact WhatsApp Customer Service
How to Contact WhatsApp Customer Service
Unlike many companies, WhatsApp doesn’t have a support telephone number, so you will have to use the Contact Us area of the mobile app or visit WhatsApp.com/Contact on the web to get in touch. On the website, you can email WhatsApp questions related to messenger support, your business account, or accessibility concerns. If you're having technical difficulties that prevent you from contacting WhatsApp online, or you just need to send them a more official notice, you can write a letter to their corporate office. This wikiHow teaches you how you can get in touch with WhatsApp.
Steps

Using the WhatsApp Mobile App

Open WhatsApp on your phone or tablet. It's the green-and-white chat bubble icon with a phone receiver inside. You'll find it on your home screen, in your app list, or by searching. If you can't sign in to WhatsApp, see the Using WhatsApp.com on the Web method.

Tap Settings. It's the gear icon at the bottom-right corner.

Tap Help. It's near the bottom of the menu.

Tap Contact Us. This opens the Contact Us field, which allows you to type a description of your issue and upload a screenshot (optional).

Type your issue and tap Next. WhatsApp will try to find answers in their support database for your issue. If any of the articles in the results look like they could be helpful, tap the article's name to check it out.

Tap Send my question to WhatsApp Support. This creates a new email message to WhatsApp using you phone or tablet's default email program.

Tap the Send button. It'll usually be an arrow or a paper airplane icon. This sends your message to WhatsApp Support in the proper format. WhatsApp will usually communicate with you via email only, but you may receive a phone call, depending on your issue.

Using WhatsApp.com on the Web

Go to https://www.whatsapp.com/contact in a web browser. You can use any web browser on your computer, phone, or tablet to reach WhatsApp Messenger, Business, or accessibility support via email. If you have a business account, you can email [email protected] to ask for help. If you have an accessibility concern or suggestion, email [email protected].

Click Contact Us under "WhatsApp Messenger Support." This directs you to a page that explains how to request support in the WhatsApp app on your phone or tablet—if you can't sign in to the WhatsApp mobile app, continue with this method. Your question may already be answered in WhatsApp's FAQ, so be sure to check that out before sending a message.

Enter your phone number. Use the same phone number that's connected to your WhatsApp account so the support team can identify your account.

Select your platform. From the list of platforms, choose the device you usually use to chat on WhatsApp. If you normally use a computer, select Web and Desktop. If the device isn't listed, choose Other.

Type your issue. Type your reason for contacting WhatsApp into the "Please enter your message below" field. Describe your issue in details—you'll need to enter at least 30 characters to even send the message. If you don't include enough information, WhatsApp Support may contact you for more details or ask you to resubmit your request.

Click Send Question. This opens a new email message addressed to the proper support team. The email message is pre-formatted to be processed by WhatsApp's support tools—you'll always want to use this form to contact WhatsApp so your message is routed to the right place.

Click the Send button in your email program. This sends your message to the appropriate support team for your account and product.

Writing to WhatsApp

Write a letter to WhatsApp’s headquarters if technology fails you. If your phone and computer are not working, or you need to submit something more official (like a certified letter), you can send a letter to WhatsApp. WhatsApp’s corporate address is WhatsApp Inc / 1601 Willow Road / Menlo Park, CA / 94025

Clearly state your contact information in the letter. Like writing an email, you should include your phone number in international format with the country code and any specific issues you’re experiencing. Be specific about how you can receive communication—for example, if you can't get into your email account, don't provide your email address—get an alternate address and provide that instead, or include your phone number or mailing address. Don’t ask a question that’s answered in the FAQ section. Customer support prioritizes reports of issues and will not answer a question that is answered by the FAQ.

Add technical information about your problem. If you're contacting WhatsApp for technical support in writing, include the exact text of any error messages you see when you try to use your account. WhatsApp support will want to know when you’re experiencing the issue and if it can be reproduced. You'll also want to include the device model you're using (such as Google Pixel 3 or Apple iPhone XR). For example, you can write, “Why does my screen in WhatsApp video call keep freezing? It’s been happening every time I make a video call on my iPhone SE 2. How can I fix this?” and then leave your phone number in international format. Another example of an inquiry could be, “My phone keeps telling me I have WhatsApp messages when I don’t. It started about a week ago telling me there was one. This is happening every day now. How do I fix this?”

Send your letter to WhatsApp. Depending on your concern and the contact information you provided, you may hear back from WhatsApp via regular mail, your phone number, or via email.

What's your reaction?
