- To restart your Samsung S22, press and hold the "Volume Down" and "Side" buttons together, then tap "Restart."
- If the phone is unresponsive, continue pressing the "Volume Down" and "Side" buttons until the screen goes black.
Press and hold the "Volume down" and "Side" buttons simultaneously. If you're looking at your phone's screen, both buttons are on the right side.
Hold the buttons until "Power" options appear. You can "Power Off," "Restart," or "Emergency call."
Tap Restart. Tap "Restart" again to restart your phone. Your Samsung Galaxy S22 will restart, which takes about 30 seconds. If your phone is frozen or unresponsive, tapping "Restart" might do nothing. In that case, continue holding the "Volume down" and "Side" buttons to force your phone to restart.
