How to Remove a Telegram Bot on iPhone or iPad

Deleting a Bot on Your Device

Open Telegram on your iPhone or iPad. It’s a blue and white paper airplane icon typically found on the home screen. A list of your chats will appear.

Swipe left on the chat with the bot. You may have to scroll down to find it. Several icons will then slide out on the right.

Tap Delete on the chat. It’s the red icon with a trashcan inside. Additional options will expand.

Tap Delete and Stop. It’s at the bottom of the screen. This stops the bot and deletes the chat.

Stopping a Bot without Deleting the Chat

Open Telegram on your iPhone or iPad. It’s a blue and white paper airplane icon typically found on the home screen. A list of your chats will appear. Use this method to stop the bot without deleting the chat.

Tap the chat with the bot. You may have to scroll down to find it. The conversation will appear.

Tap the bot’s profile icon. It’s in a circle at the top-right corner of the conversation.

Scroll down and tap Stop bot. It’s at the bottom of the screen in red text. This stops the bot without deleting the conversation.
