How to Turn on Mobile Data on iPhone or iPad

Using the Control Center

Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen. This opens the Control Center.

Tap the mobile data icon. It looks like an antennae with rounded lines emanating from its top. The icon will turn green, indicating that mobile data is now enabled.

Using the Settings App

Open your iPhone or iPad’s Settings. It’s the iPhone Settings App Icon icon typically found on the home screen.

Tap Cellular. It’s in the first section of the menu.

Slide the “Cellular Data” switch to iPhone Switch On Icon. As long as this switch is on, mobile data is enabled on your iPhone or iPad.
