Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram Producer Gets ANGRY About Negative Reviews: 'None of You Are...'

Naga Vamsi, the producer of Mahesh Babu’s recently released movie Guntur Kaaram, was recently left angry when reporters asked him about the film’s negative reviews. Naga held a press conference in Hyderabad when he argued that some people seemed to have an ‘agenda’ regarding his movie. He went on to say that the reviews hold no value to him.

“I’m here to tell you that your intellectual opinions haven’t hurt us or affected the collections,” the producer said as quoted by Hindustan Times and then added, “Reviews are just one person’s opinion, they don’t reflect the audience’s tastes. If you can criticise my films, I can call out your reviews too. None of you are Gods and your reviews hold no value because the film is doing well.”

While Guntur Kaaram did not impress many, Mahesh Babu’s performance in the movie is getting immsense praise. When asked about the same, Naga sarcastically said, “Mahesh is a really good actor. He looked good, and danced well, but what about the rest? Who made him do it all?” The producer then added, “Trivikram must be credited for that, right? The film is a two-man show, he deserves the credit too. The hero might be seen on-screen, but the director can’t, right?”

Released on January 12, besides Mahesh Babu, Guntur Kaaram also starred Sreeleela as the female protagonist. Notably, Guntur Kaaram marks the third collaboration between Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram Srinivas. Their previous ventures include Khaleja and Athadu. Guntur Kaaram has been performing well at the box office. The film has already crossed Rs 200 crore mark worldwide.

After Guntur Kaaram, Mahesh Babu will now be collaborating with director SS Rajamouli for a movie which is tentatively titled SSMB29. After RRR, this will be Rajamouli’s next project. As per media reports, the Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is being considered as the lead heroine of the movie. Rajamouli has already announced that the story will be an adventure thriller set in the backdrop of Africa. The movie will be made on a huge scale with the highest technical standards. The film is expected to be a pan-India movie.
