2 suspected H1N1 cases in Chitradurga

CHITRADURGA: Doctors suspect two cases of H1N1 (swine flu) in the district and the swabs have been sent to the Department of Virology at NIMHANS for investigation. Giving information about the preparedness of the district to tackle the H1N1 outbreak, District Nodal Officer Dr R Ranganath told Express that one case each from Challakere and another at Basaveshwara Medical College and Hospital are suspected to be swine flu during the initial screening. He urged people not to panic as there are sufficient treatment facilities.
