Solapur: More than 2000 workers, including 250 engineers, of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDC) went on an indefinite strike demanding hike in their wages.
The employees struck work from midnight ahead of the Cabinet meeting to be held on Wednesday.
The strike may not lengthen as Wednesday's meeting will bring out the solution in the on-going issue of MSEDC workers, senior engineer, Vilas Gaikwad said.
