A 45-year-old tea seller, whose throat was slit by three persons on Sunday evening, on Tuesday succumbed at a hospital in Ghaziabad, leading to protests by his family members and villagers who blocked G T road at Mohan Nagar area demanding the arrest of culprits.
On Sunday, when Natthu Ram Prajapati was returning home after closing his tea stall, three persons accosted him and after some argument slit his throat with knife, according to the complaint lodged with the police by his son.
After two days of treatment, Prajapati passed away on Tuesday morning.
