60 per cent rise in profit of PSUs in 6 months

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty told the Assembly on Friday that the profit of the Public Sector Undertakings under the Industries Ministry had gone up by 60 per cent in the past six months. The profit is estimated to be Rs. 81.39 crore, he said.During the Question Hour, the minister said that the government did not have any intention to privatise the public sector companies in the state.
