HYDERABAD: Police arrested seven students of a corporate college on Saturday who were involved in ransacking and damaging the college's administrative office on Saturday. All the arrested students are studying in first and second year of Intermediate.
According to police, a particular section of students were involved in ransacking and damaging office furniture and windowpanes at the Nalanda Junior College in Dilsukhnagar. "Around 10.30 a.m on Saturday, one particular section of students met the principal and submitted a representation demanding suspension of another group alleging they reportedly manhandled them on Friday," said Iqbal Siddhiqui, assistant commissioner of police, Malakpet division. He said when the college principal refused their demand, irritated students came out shouting slogans and damaged the administrative office.
