Mumbai: Now that Aamir Khan has put all his film assignments on hold for the sake of his television outing, he is totally focussed on his small screen debut. Mr Perfectionist is leaving no stone unturned and is going as far as his telling the brand guys not to screen any of his ads during the show.
As it is a serious issue-based programme, he does not want to dilute the effect of having his ads pop up during the commercial break which the audience might find amusing!
Sonakshi Sinha is excited about 'Dabangg 2'
Sonakshi Sinha is really happy as she begins shooting for her debut flick's sequel tomorrow. The actress is looking forward to working with Salman Khan, remember he launched her in Bollwyood. So it is a sort of homecoming for her.
Sanjay Dutt or Kamal Haasan in 26/11 terror attack film
Okay, we broke the story about Sanjeev Jaiswal being cast as Ajmal Kasab in Ram Gopal Varma's movie on the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Now, buzz is that either Sanjay Dutt or Kamal Haasan will be playing the role of the top cop Rakesh Maria. Apparently, the filmmaker was keen to cast Dutt, who's already acting in his upcoming venture about the police department.
On the other hand, Ronnel Rodrigues, on whose book RGV's movie is based on and who is also involved in the script, has suggested roping in Haasan for the role.
Sonam Kapoor is a true sport
Must say Sonam Kapoor is a real sport. While most of our B-Town stars would cringe at the thought of being nominated for any 'Worst' category, the Kapoor girl showed up at the Ghanta Awards, a desi version of Hollywood's Raspberry awards.
Sonam and Shahid Kapoor won the 'WTF Was That' award for their characters in Mausam who 'don't manage to exchange a measly phone number for over 10 years'. That's not all. Sonam also praised the award function on her micro blogging site.
The actress also posted a picture of hers with the trophy on her BB and set her status as 'My Ghanta!' We haven't seen or heard of any star being as sporty about such criticism in quite a while. Hope other cry baby actors learn from her? Way to go Sonam!
Cycling Salman Khan causes a mini-traffic jam
He's done it numerous times before and he did it yet again on Saturday. Motorists on the Western express highway near Santa Cruz were taken aback to see a man furiously pedalling away in the fast lane with a fancy pair of white wheels and two guards on bikes tailing him.
A close look revealed that it was Salman Khan! Though he was wearing a cap and had his gaze fixed on the road ahead, passing motorists slowed down to get a proper glimpse.
The star was causing a mini jam, but no one seemed to care when they realised that it was the star! Sallu who is shooting at Kamalistan Studios was perhaps cycling home to Bandra.
