Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Backward Castes Commission on Monday said certain IAS and IPS officers want to create instability in the state and government was identifying such officers.
"There are some IAS and IPS officers, who want to create instability in the state...The state government is identifying such officers," Ram Asrey Vishwakarma told reporters at Bareilly. He said after the suspension of IAS officer Durga Sakthi Nagpal, officers who want to create instability have come under scrutiny.
"The state government is keeping an eye on IAS and IPS officers posted in districts. The government and SP organisation have started identifying such officers, who want to vitiate atmosphere of the state. Such officers will not be spared..", Vishwakarma said.
On opposition parties, he said Congress and BJP have lost relevance in the state and the main contest in the forthcoming general elections would be between SP and BSP. "The next government at the Centre will be formed by the third front and Mulayam Singh Yadav will become Prime Minister," he said.
