HYDERABAD: TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao has set his eyes on Congress MPs after poaching the ruling party’s MLAs. As the MPs have hit a blind alley in Parliament on Telangana, Rao is planning to strike when the iron is hot and capitalise on their frustration. Rao and his colleague Vijayashanti left for Delhi Sunday afternoon with an intention to stall the Lok Sabha on Monday on the Telangana issue. The two leaders, on arrival in Delhi, consulted leaders of some parties which too support the demand for a new state. KCR has already made an appeal to Telangana Congress MPs to leave the Congress and join the TRS to mount greater pressure on the Centre. He has been taunting them either to stay in the Congress and perish or join the TRS and flourish. The Congress MPs have not yet reacted to the TRS chief’s invitation. For the time being, they have decided to boycott the proceedings on Monday and then decide what they should do next.
