Mumbai: As they say all publicity is good publicity. Tareena Patel's hubby Iqbal Sharma was involved with Saif Ali Khan in the recent hotel brawl. And it looks like it has worked in her favour.
The starlet has gained a role after the fracas. She has been spotted in Wai shooting along with Nana Patekar and Shreyas Talpade for the sequel of a comic caper. Hopefully when the unit breaks for meals, there is no loud conversation emerging from the tables around her.
Ram Gopal Varma runs for his life!
A fat birdie from Andheri's Lokhandwala Complex is spellbound by Ram Gopal Varma's agility. The filmmaker was at Amar Mohile's recording studio a few days ago, to check how the background score of his film was coming up.
However, when someone dropped in to announce that a fire had broken out in the air-conditioning duct, RGV bolted off. And that too with such speed and gusto that he didn't wait to hear that the blaze had occurred in the adjacent building. Really now! Looks like Ramu can take part in the Lokhandwala marathon next!
Aamir Bashir's directorial debut 'Harud' set to release in April
Last year, Aamir Bashir's directorial debut Harud (Autumn) based in Kashmir was appreciated at several film festivals including Toronto, London, New York, San Francisco and Dubai.
Despite such international acclaim, it failed to receive the government's censor certificate and hence never released in India.
Thankfully, not anymore. According to him, the issue is now resolved and his film is set to release in April. The much-relieved director-actor is currently writing the script of his next venture titled Winter.
Ajay Devgn and Arjan Bajwa suffer food poisoning
A birdie hovering over Patiala chirps to inform that Ajay Devgn and Arjan Bajwa suffered from food poisoning over the weekend. The actors who are shooting for a comedy flick are taking antibiotics.
Though their co-stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Tanuja also consumed the stuff, nothing happened to them. Guess Devgn and Bajwa have a weak constitution.
Tusshar Kapoor has developed a taste for Rajasthani food
Punjabis are known for their love for Tandoori chicken and aloo parathas. But while shooting in Rajasthan, Tusshar Kapoor developed a taste for the local cuisine. He especially loved to devour 'Daal Baati and Churma'. At home, too, he now tells his cook to make him Rajasthani food once in a while.
