New Delhi: In a dramatic move, Anna Hazare on Monday suddenly went to Raj Ghat and sat in the lawns in front of Mahatma Gandhi's samadhi taking authorities by surprise.
On the eve of his fast for a strong Lokpal Bill, Anna went to the samadhi of the Apostle of peace and non-violence late afternoon and meditated there for over an hour.

The impromptu visit to Raj Ghat on the Independence Day was unscheduled and the visitors were surprised to see the Gandhian in their midst sitting in front of the samadhi amid light rain.
The visit also caught police by surprise, prompting them to rush a team of officers to the memorial to maintain law and order.
After Anna reached Raj Ghat, hundreds of people reached the memorial.
