New Delhi: Even as the nation grapples to recover from the shocking Nithari serial killings, another serial murder case has emerged in Hyderabad.
The police on Monday arrested three men allegedly involved in the murder of nine persons, including a woman, in the past one year. The killings surfaced when the bodies of two men were found near Rajendranagar on this city's outskirts on January 2.
The suspected killers allegedly used to lure their victims with liquor and the services of sex workers and later smashed their heads with boulders.
"The arrest of Ramulu and Pavan in connection with the murder of two youth identified as Dastagiri and his cousin Mustafa led to the arrest of another person Venkatesh, a native of Bihar," PTI quoted Assistant Commissioner of Police Mahipal Reddy as saying.
The bodies of seven of the nine victims were identified by those arrested. However, the remaining two are yet to be identified.
