Hyderabad: The maiden session of Andhra Pradesh assembly started amidst uproar. The opposition YSR Congress alleged that the TDP has started political killings of its workers.
Leader of the Opposition and party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy alleged that 11 of its members were killed after the TDP government took charge. The speaker adjourned the house till Tuesday.
The same scenes continued after the House re-assembled with the YSR Congress members moving into the Well, holding placards like 'political murders should come to an end.' The TDP members stood up at their seats and raised slogans.
Sports Minister K Atchannaidu said it was painful that "those who encouraged political violence in the state are now talking about such a thing."
The chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu led TDP government will be presenting the budget during this session.
