PATHANAMTHITTA: The high-level team headed by the Endowment Commissioner of the Andhra Pradesh Government will visit Nilackal pilgrim transit camp on Thursday in connection with the projects to be identified for the setting up of the proposed Andhra Bhavan at Nilackal. Talking to the Express, Travancore Devaswom Boar’d president M Rajagopalan Nair said that the Andhra Pradesh teams visit would be a follow-up of the visit of the Sabarimala High-Powered Committee team comprising K Jayakumar and himself to Hyderabad last week. Rajagopalan Nair said that the Andhra team would visit the proposed site for Andhra Bhavan at Nilackal parking area earmarked for the pilgrim vehicles from Andhra Pradesh. The team would hold discussions with the TDB team led by chief engineer Ravikumar at Nilackal. Sponsors for Swami Ayyappan Road: Rajagopalan Nair said that the high-powered could able to identify the sponsors for the renovation of Swami Ayyappan Raod linking Pampa to Marakkoottam. Discussions were in the final stages for the signing of the memorandum of understanding with the sponsor. In addition, My Home Group Builders of Hyderabad offered Rs 25 lakh for undertaking projects for providing basic facilities to the pilgrims, Nair said.
