VIJAYAWADA: We are ready to go to the Supreme Court to protect law and order in the state in the wake of Sakala Janula Samme in Telangana region, MP Lagadapati Rajagopal has said.Speaking to newsmen here on Wednesday, he said the pro-Telangana activists who attacked Seemandhra people in Hyderabad, should be punished. People are facing severe hardships due to Sakala Janula Samme. Telangana people will certainly realise the real motive behind the strike one day as it is for the selfish interests of some T leaders. Feudal lords like TRS chief KCR and his men are fighting for their cause in the guise of T movement. People will certainly teach a lesson to KCR very soon, he said.Gunmen to TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao and TRS leaders K Taraka Rama Rao and T Harish Rao as their securitymen are attacking others. “On Tuesday, some pro-Telangana activists tried to attack me when I visited the RTA office in Hyderabad,” he said.Hyderabad had achieved development on all fronts due to large scale investments made by Seemandhra people. In case of bifurcation of the state yielding to the pressure from the TRS and other pro-Telangana parties, Hyderabad should be made a Union Territory, he said. According to Rajagopal, about 80 per cent of people in the state are in favour of Samaikyandhra. A mammoth public meeting for Samaikyandhra will be organised in Hyderabad after October 7, he said.Ruling out imposition of President’s rule in the state, he said the Congress government would complete its full term. The MP said the Congress government was committed to safeguarding the interests of people of all the regions.
