New Delhi: Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued advisory to Maharshtra police that they should be more alert ahead of the IPL semi finals.
This after two minor explosions at M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore on Saturday.
An alert that there could be an attempt by terrorists to disrupt matches at Patil Stadium has been made.
New Maharashtra Director General of Police (DGP) A N Roy said, "Security has been tightened in and near the Patil Stadium. There are 3 levels of checking to get into the stadium."
The IPL semi finals are to be held in Mumbai on April 21.
