Bharath Varsity introduces smart classrooms

CHENNAI: The smart class room is connected to EDUSAT to deliver lectures in select topics/subjects to give the students an expert’s view on the same. The audio and visuals displayed through the tools will enable the students to understand the subject better. Also the digital learning process is economical; quality lectures can be recorded and the students can listen to the lectures any number of times.Each student in the class room will be provided an individual PC and the lecture can be saved for future reference. All the systems are interconnected with EDUSAT to provide synchronous content in the classroom.“Bharath University has always believed in providing its students with good infrastructure; this is just another step in that direction,” said Dr KP Thooyamani, Vice-Chancellor, Bharath University. “With advancements in Information Technology, accessibility to knowledge and information has become simpler and we have capitalised on the same to give our students an enriching experience in learning.”
