Alleging that all is not well in the JMM-Congress-RJD coalition government in Jharkhand, the opposition BJP on Monday sought to know why Chief Minister Hemant Soren needs to 'remind repeatedly' about its stability.

"We would like to ask the chief minister what makes him to keep on reminding that his government is safe and stable whenever any coalition partner threatens to pull out," BJP's state unit spokesman Pradip Sinha said here.

Reacting to the PCC's extended Executive Committee meeting held on Sunday mooting to fight on its own in the coming Assembly polls and some leaders reportedly threatening to pull out of the coalition, Sinha said, "the chief minister's repeated assertions shows that everything is not well in the coalition."

He referred to a couple of similar statements by Soren following the RJD's demand for cancellation of sand mining auction and after sacking former rural development minister Chandrasekhar Dubey from his cabinet earlier this year.

"The differences among the allies began soon after they formed the government in July last year when the chief minister aired his views on domicile policy while HRD Minister Gitashree Oraon's (Congress) controversial statement that only locals should be appointed in the recruitment examinations for teachers' post," Sinha alleged.
