Tension prevailed at Chinmaya Vidyalaya school near Canara Bank in Koramangala on Tuesday morning after an unidentified miscreant called the school staff on Tuesday morning and threatened that explosives have been planted in the school and they would blast soon. However, after a thorough search, the call proved to be a hoax.
According to the police, the school staff received an anonymous call at 8 am. The staff immediately alerted the police control room and the bomb disposal squad. The sniffer squad, who rushed to the spot immediately searched the campus for more than 30 minutes.
The police concluded that the call was hoax as no explosive substances were found on the campus. The miscreant called from a landline phone, the number of which is yet to be traced.Koramangal police are looking out for the miscreant.
