BSY should clarify on issues: DVS

MANGALORE: Discussions on group leadership is a  trend which is an integral part of politics, CM D V Sadananda Gowda stressed on Sunday. Interacting with reporters at Surathkal NITK grounds after arriving in a chopper, he said there is no meaning in a political system if it does not focus on discussions. To B S Yeddyurappa’s statements expressing disagreement to group leadership, Gowda said Yeddyurappa should clarify on such issues.  “The party leadership will take a decision as the administration and party are two different issues,” he said.  He said he had visited New Delhi to meet leaders and obtain blessings after his win in the MLC elections. He added that no issues pertaining to leadership in the state were discussed in the committee meeting of the party. The state is awaiting response from the Governor on the appointment of the Lokayukta.
