HYDERABAD: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday served notices to five persons, including Gali Karunakar Reddy, directing them to appear before the agency officials on September 16. Sources said, the CBI, after interrogating Gali Janarhan Reddy and his brotherin law B V Srinivas Reddy, has got leads pointing at the involvement of Karunakar Reddy in the 'illegal mining'. "Karunakar was one of the former directors of the Obulapuram Mining Company and, therefore, his role has to be examined," sources said. The other four allegedly helped the Gali brothers in the illegal mining.
SECURITY FOR VIJAYA SAI REDDY: The police have decided to provide two gunmen to Vijaya Sai Reddy, the vicepresident of Jagati Publications Ltd. Reddy had written to DGP V Dinesh Reddy and additional DGP (Intelligence) M Mahender Reddy fearing threat to his life from TDP and Congress .
