Follow us:WhatsappFacebookTwitterTelegram.cls-1{fill:#4d4d4d;}.cls-2{fill:#fff;}Google NewsIt seemed as though the British Empire had struck again, but this time around, to bring forth the legacy of author Charles Dickens, at the Dr  MGR University.To commemorate the biennial anniversary of Dickens, the university’s literary seminary inaugurated the second international conference on Dickens.The conference titled ‘The Contemporaneous Effect of Charles Dickens and his works,’ will witness the participation of Dr Florian Schweizer, Director, Dicken’s Museum, London.In his key note address, Schweizer said, “It’s amazing how after 140 years of his death, the life and works of Dickens continues to shape the lives of many around the globe today.”The three-day conference will feature interactive sessions by Scheweizer. In addition, paper presentations on the life and works of Charles Dickens will also be made.Events such as debate, creative writing and book reviews will also be held for participants.
