CHENNAI: To commemorate International Nurses Day, the leading multi-specialty hospital Fortis Malar Hospital organised a week-long celebration for the nurses of the hospital. The hospital kickstarted the festivities on May 12 — the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale. Providing a forum to showcase their latent talent competitions in art, music, dance, etc were conducted to help them relax. Taking into account the high levels of stress involved in nursing, the hospital also organised a one day workshop on effective methods to deal with stress. Commenting on the occasion Zonal Director, Fortis Healthcare Ltd Krish Ramesh said, “At Fortis Malar we have always had tremendous regard for our nurses. We admire their hard work and commitment to patient care.
