Celebrations at Nirmala HSS to end on Tuesday

KOCHI: The year-long golden jubilee celebration of Nirmala Higher Secondary School, Aluva, will come to an end with a public meeting to be held on January 31. Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb will inaugurate the celebration. The celebration was inaugurated by K P Dhanapalan, MP, in August 2011.S D Congregation superior general Mother Smitha S D will preside over the function. Ernakulam-Angamaly Archdiocese Auxiliary Bishop Mar Thomas Chakyath will deliver the jubilee message while K P Dhanapalan, MP, will deliver the keynote address. The Golden Jubilee Souvenir will be released by Anwar Saadath, MLA. Additional Director of Revenue Intelligence (Kerala) P Tiju will launch the school website.“The year-long golden jubilee celebration was marked by various programmes in school and outside, including visits to old age homes and aid for seven open heart surgeries in association with the Heart Care Foundation,” principal Sr Gita.
