HYDERABAD: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) has forwarded to sub-registrars in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts a list of benami properties alleged to be owned by Mallisetty Bhanu Kiran and urged them to track down his assets. A team of senior officials will take Bhanu by flight to Madhya Pradesh Sunday to seize the illegal weapons he is said to have stored in a rented house in Seoni.Bhanu, key accused in the Maddelacheruvu Suri murder case, is being grilled by CID officials and has allegedly revealed during interrogation that some of his benami assets were in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts. On Saturday, the fourth consecutive day of interrogation, Bhanu also revealed that he possessed five unlicensed revolvers.
