KOCHI: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Sunday paid a visit to Syro-malabar Major Archbishop Mar George Alenchery, who was elevated to the status of Cardinal last week. The Chief Minister was accompanied by Transport Minister V S Shivakumar, Excise Minister K Babu, and son Chandy Oommen.The two discussed various subjects, including the Mullaperiyar issue during the meeting. Mar Alenchery requested the Chief Minister to find a solution at the earliest so that the people living in the vicinity of the dam can live without panicking.
