HYDERABAD: Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal has said the Congress high command will announce its decision on bifurcation of the state by the end of this month and it will be acceptable to people of the three regions.Rajagopal who met chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at his camp office here on Sunday, discussed several issues with him. Ruling out bifurcation of the state, the Congress MP exuded confidence that Andhra Pradesh remains united. According to him, the Congress high command had already completed discussions with state Congress leaders on the T issue. It will discuss the issue with national leaders of the party in the coming few days to arrive at a decision.After completion of talks with national level leaders, the Congress will start consultations with constituents of UPA.The whole exercise will be completed by the end of this month.Later, it will take a clear stand on the demands for separate Telangana and Samaikyandhra. It will also insist the TDP and the YSR Congress to spell out their stand on the T issue. After considering the stand of TDP and YSRC, the Union home minister is likely convene an all-party meeting to take a final decision. Commenting on the ongoing Sakala Janula Samme, Rajagopal described it as Sakala Udyogula Samme. He said the arrest of Telangana Congress MPs for taking part in the rail roko called by the TJAC was painful.Explaining his unhappiness over the prevailing situation in the state, he hoped that it would improve soon.
