Congress MLA Suresh Choudhary's son Trilok and two others have been arrested for allegedly beating and molesting a woman in Bhopal, police said on Tuesday.
The incident took place on Sunday night when the 29-year-old woman, living in Banganga area of the city was returning from work and Trilok with his friends, who were in a white car began harassing her by passing indecent comments.
When the woman objected, Trilok (45) came out of the car and began beating and abusing the woman whom he tried to drag into the car. The woman shouted for help, following which passersby and locals gathered on the spot and informed the police after catching the MLA's son.
His two friends--Rajesh Gupta alias Bablu and Abhishek alias Guddu--managed to escape but were subsequently nabbed. The three were arrested on Monday and produced in a court and later sent to jail.
