BANGALORE: Police identified a 45-year-old woman’s body, found at an isolated place with her head chopped off, in Rajanukunte police limits on July 21.The woman has been identified as Kempamma, a resident of Medenahalli in Bidadi.She was a small time financier and lent money on interest. She was said to have lent Rs 50,000 to Gopi, a resident of Devanahalli.Police said that Gopi had borrowed the money from her for his sister’s wedding.Gopi reportedly delayed returning the money while Kempamma repeatedly urged him to return her money.The police suspect that he might have taken her to the isolated place at Suradevanapura and murdered her.Police are on the look out for Gopi, who is missing. The Rajanukunte police have registered a case and further investigations are on in this connection.Labourer ElectrocutedA construction labourer was electrocuted in Kodigehalli police station limits on Wednesday night.The deceased Illiyas Pasha (26), a native of Doddaballapura, was working on the roof of an under-construction building in Thindlu. Allegedly, he touched the electric wire which passes above the building.Though he was rushed to hospital immediately, he succumbed. Police have registered a case.Security Guard MurderedA 65-year-old security guard was murdered by slitting his throat open in RMC Yard police station limits on Wednesday night.The deceased Krishna Yadav, was a native of Bihar.Yadav was a security guard at an electrical and electronics factory, which is being shut for the last few months.The incident came to light on Thursday morning when passersby saw Yadav lying in a pool of blood. Police suspect that the murder was due to illicit relationship.The RMC Yard police have registered a case of murder and are investigating in this connection.
