Corrupt officials to be listed

BHUBANESWAR: The State Government has decided to clamp down on corrupt officials and employees.  Sources said Chief Secretary Bijay Kumar Patnaik had written a letter to the Vigilance Department  asking it to submit a list of corrupt officials and  employees. The Vigilance has in turn asked different departments to submit their lists to it.  The list will include officials who are facing probe in corruption cases. Scams have come to the fore in many departments in the third term of Naveen rule.  Though steps have been initiated against many in multi-crore mining scam and irregularities in the purchase of pulses, it has now been decided to prepare a list.
