Dabholkar, who led a campaign against anti-superstition, was shot dead while on a morning walk.

Ramnathi: The trail of the murder case of anti-superstition activist Dr Narendra Dabholkar has taken the Pune police to a ashram in Goa. The police team on Wednesday visited the Sanatan Sanstha Ashram at Ramnathi in Goa where they are questioning the members.

Dabholkar, who led a campaign against anti-superstition, was shot dead in Pune on August 20. Dabholkar was shot dead while on a morning walk near the Omkareshwar temple.

Dabholkar was the editor of a weekly titled Sadhana. Four rounds were fired and he succumbed to bullet injuries in the Sassoon Hospital.

Dabholkar was at the forefront of a campaign to persuade the Maharashtra government to pass an anti-superstition and black magic Bill.
