David Beckham's son Romeo earns 45,000 pounds as model for one day

London: Star couple David and Victoria Beckham's son Romeo has been paid 45,000 pounds for a day's work as a luxury brand's model.

Romeo, 12, was paid the equivalent of 93.75 pounds a minute for an eight-hour day for the time he spent on set, which puts him among the world's highest-earning models, reported Contactmusic.

Other models, who have endorsed the brand, feel it will be difficult to match Romeo's rate of pay. "Romeo has set some hard steps to follow in," actor-model Jamie Campbell Bower said.

Burberry, for its part, is able to point to the fact that the advertising campaign has received more publicity than is usual, largely because they've hired the son of one of the world's most famous and stylish couples.
