New Delhi: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has pulled up the Bharatiya Janata Party and its Delhi chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi over its dismal performance in the recently concluded Assembly elections.

RSS mouthpiece 'The Organiser', called BJP's Delhi campaign defensive. The RSS said the decision to bring in Kiran Bedi to counter Arvind Kejriwal was taken too late.

The RSS also shielded Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying the Delhi mandate was not a referendum on him.

Instead, RSS said Delhi voted more on municipal issues.

The BJP registered itsd worst ever performance in the Assembly election as it was also hit by the AAP tsunami and managed to win just 3 seats in the 70-member Assembly and AAP sweeping 67 seats. Congress, which ruled the national capital for 15 years, failed to open its account.
