HYDERABAD: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday directed senior officials of key government departments to prepare a comprehensive plan for providing 15 lakh jobs in the next three years under Rajiv Education and Employment Mission and submit it by Tuesday.“There should be a mission and five sub-missions which should have district core centres,” the chief minister said.Reviewing the preparatory work of Rajiv Education and Employment Mission with finance minister A Ramnarayana Reddy, labour minister D Nagender and rural development minister D Manikya Vara Prasad at the Secretariat, Kiran Kumar said that the plan should be fresh and must integrate educational curricula, training, skill development and employability.He has also asked officials to work out the existing and needed training and skill development infrastructure with various departments.The chief minister said that was important to pick the right candidate for skill development and they must be identified through correct procedure. “Our curricula will be finalised in coordination with the industry and other allied sectors,” he said.He said that the key departments like education, rural development, municipal administration, SC and BC corporations, technical education, Industrial Sectors like pharma, IT&C, construction, healthcare, biotechnology, hospitality, tourism, textiles, automobiles etc must be synchronised to prepare the draft plan.Training and skill development should suit the industry and make the youth selfemployable by enhancing their vocational skills through training and creating awareness of job opportunities and training programmes, he added.
