Excise Department searching for 2 more culprits

PALAKKAD: The Excise Department officials are on the lookout for two more persons, who were allegedly involved in illicit liquor manufacturing in Chandranagar.The police had arrested Prasad and Raveendran from the house where the illicit Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) was being manufactured. The house functioned as the administrative office and guest house of SDF Distilleries in Thiruvilwamala.The excise officials had seized 625 IMFL bottles, bottling machines, cork manufacturing and sealing equipments, and hundreds of empty bottles from the house. The officials said they are on the lookout for Gopikrishnan, the GM of SDF Distilleries, and his driver Noorudheen.
