Bhadohi: Afraid of failure in board exams, a girl studying in Class X committed suicide in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh by hanging herself from the ceiling, police said on Saturday, adding that she was upset with her poor performance in Mathematics paper.
A carpet weaver's daughter, Shama Parveen hanged herself on Friday with a 'dupatta' in her home in Gopiganj area of the district, they said.

The deceased also left a suicide note mentioning her fears about her marks in the examination.
