CHENNAI: Dreaming or aiming small is a crime, and students have to aim big to achieve big things in life, said former President A P J Abdul Kalam speaking at the second annual convocation of Vels University in the city, on Wednesday.“I have met 12 million youth over the last decade and all of them want to be unique”,said Kalam.“The world around you will do all possible things to make you everybody else or somebody else. Parents, teachers and society will constantly compare children with other children and ask them to be like them”, he said.Stating that he had a ten point agenda to develop India by 2020, Kalam said that bridging the rural-urban divide, equitable distribution of energy and water, access to equitable education and healthcare are the key measures. Speaking on corruption, he said that students should urge their parents to avoid any forms of corruption, if they happen to notice it.
