BANGALORE: No one seems to be in approval of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa's invitation to JD(S) president H D Kumaraswamy for an oath test before Lord Manjunatheshwara, the presiding deity of Dharmasthala temple.BJP national president Nitin Gadkari on Friday asked Yeddyurappa to call off his June 27 oathtest saying that it was not appropriate to use religious places for politics.Addressing reporters after delivering a keynote address at the 94th annual general body meeting of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FKCCI) here on Friday, Gadkari said that he had already asked Yeddyurappa not to indulge in the oath test. "It is a political battle and we need to battle it out in the legal and political way. It is not appropriate to use religious places, particularly temples, for politics," Gadkari said.Gadkari dismissed the continued allegations of corruption against Yeddyurappa as politically motivated."Opposition parties are making allegations out of frustration. The people are happy with our government in Karnataka and it has been proved by their continued support," Gadkari said.
