HYDERABAD: The state government on Monday issued orders for revision of Dearness Allowance (DA) sanctioned to its employees from 24.82 percent to 29.96 percent with effect from January 1, 2011.As per GO 104 issued by the finance department on Monday, the DA sanctioned will be paid in cash with the salary of May payable in June. The arrears on account of payment of DA for the period from January 1 to April 30 will be credited to the general provident fund account of the respective employees.DA will also be payable to the employees of zilla parishad, mandal parishad, gram panchayats, municipalities, municipal corporations, agricultural market committees and zilla grandhalaya samasthas, work charged establishment who are drawing pay on a regular scale in the revised pay scales and to full time contingent employees whose remuneration has been revised from Rs 3,850 to Rs 6,700 per month.The government has also sanctioned an adhoc increase of Rs 50 per month in cash to part-time assistants and village servants.
